PKS Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop

*** If you are looking for the My Creative Time Black Friday Blog Hop scroll down to the next post or click HERE***

Welcome to the Peachy Keen Stamps Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop. If you came here from Tanya's Blog you are in the right spot if not make sure to head back to Kristi's blog to get the full blog hop in.

For my project to day I made some Christmas Tags.

For my tags I used the July 2013 SKOTM. These kits are fantastic. If you join the stamp kit of the month you get a full 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of awesome stamps for a great discounted price of $29.95 (that includes shipping costs and is a $15 a stamp set savings). Plus as a bonus you get coordinating SVG files for free as a kit member. These SVG's make the stamped images pop and can really come in handy. I used the July 2013 SKOTM SVG's to make these little tags. I used the SVG's for the perfect white borders and then I made an additional shadow around that for the tag base. All I had to do was weld a little circle to it and cut them out on my Silhouette. There are tons of awesome possibilities with these stamps and their coordinating SVG's. If you want more information on the being a stamp kit of the month member click HERE.

Here is a close up of my snowman tags:

I colored these with Copics and tied a bit of twine on them.

Here are my penguins:

I paper pieced and colored these ones and added twine again.

The blog hop prize is AWESOME. There will be an amazing Christmas stamp bundle that will be given to one lucky winner. To enter to win you need to comment on each blog post. And don't forget that there is another fun day of blog hopping tomorrow as well. Have a great day. Hugs- Glora

I have never done a December Daily and thought it sounded like a fun idea but I needed to do something small and simple. My book is just a 4x6" album. I will put one or two pictures and some journaling/embellishments in each day. I think my kids are going to love this little album.

Here is the front of my album:

I did my little title cover with the brand new A Day In December stamp set and the Stitched 3 x 4 Journal Die. Every single stamp in that little collage is from the new A Day in December stamp set.

I made a calendar for my first page along with some journaling cards to add details to along the way.

For these I used the A Day In December Stamp set, the new Get Schooled stamp set along with Type Calendar stamp set and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die and the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die.

I stamped and cut or die cut a bunch of miscellaneous embellishments for my book as well.

All of the above come from the new A Day In December stamp set (except for the Stitched Boots Dies).

And some other items to add right in with my pictures.

I have the days of the month on the Build a Banner Dies so that I can easily keep track of each day's events. A lot of these sentiments came from the A Day In December stamp set but the Stitched Fun Ticket die's sentiment is from the FREEBIE from the sale. It is called Shine Bright. I also used the Vintage Stitched Label Dies and the  Christmas House stamp set for the sentiment "At Christmas, all roads lead home!" I used the What a View Die, the Stitched Heart Layering Dies and the Label Font to make a little embellishment for a picture with Santa. And I used the Just Simply Live set for the other dies and stamps above.

I'm pretty excited to put this book together. It should be nice and easy now that I have all of my little journal cards and accent pieces ready to go. Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

I have made a couple of simple projects to share. I figured that with Christmas coming it would be fun to share a couple of quick and easy gifts.

My first is a little hot chocolate pouch. I made a little pocket using the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die. I gave the front of it a little decorative edge with the new Fun Stitched Edge Dies. I made a second layer with my floral paper and layered them together. I did a simple decoration with the Fun Size Stitched Bow. These would be very easy to mass produce.

My second project is a little treat bag. I used a 5x5 treat bag and made a 5 1/2 x 2 1/2" topper for it using the Fun Stitched Edge Dies. I used the new A Fun Variety on the Inside and Out stamp set for the sentiment. This was SUPER quick and easy too.

Your News Broke My Heart

***If you are looking for Day 2 of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks scroll down or CLICK HERE***

It is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and it is a sketch challenge. I just adore these sweet little sketches that DoBea whips up for us.

Here is my take on the sketch. I usually stick pretty close to a sketch and did so once again.

This sweet little bunny and a bunch of perfect sympathy sentiments come on the Bawlin' Bunnies stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I've wanted this set since it first came out and finally got it so I just had to use it for the challenge. I hope you join in the fun sketch challenge too. You can link up HERE. Hugs- Glora

MCT November Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the new release at My Creative Time.

These new stamps and dies are FANTASTIC and a bit addictive too. I've got tons of ideas and plans for these.

I used all 4 items that we are sneaking today (they coordinate beautifully and it was SO easy).

Emma is seriously a creative genius. She has come up with these new edge dies that are AMAZING! If you love cute little decorative edges on your papercrafts you are going to LOVE these. The possibilities are pretty much endless. Anyway, the cute scallop with the stitched line at the top and bottom of my pink layer were made using these new Fun Stitched Edge Dies.  The perfect little sentiment is from the set A Fun Variety on the Inside and Out. The cute girl is a die called Classy Girl and Furbaby and her stroller and the bag come from the Classy Girl Accessories die set. This is such a fun release. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

Sneak Peek giveaway!
We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner! For example, the set we are showcasing on Wednesday, Emma will announce the winner of that on Thursday & the sets we are showcasing on Thursday, Emma will announce that winner on Friday in her video!

MCT November Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Well we have a SUPER fun release for you at My Creative Time and I'm so glad you decided to join us for our first day of sneak peeks.

I'm having lots of fun with these new stamps and dies and couldn't resist making a couple of projects for you today.

When I first saw the new Stitched Circle Tab Die the thought came to me that it looked like a little snow-globe. Then I wondered if Emma's cute little stitched snowman die from the previously released All Around Holidays set would fit inside. Well it does quite nicely. So here is my little tag I made with this idea:

The background tag piece is the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die. The snowman is from the All Around Holidays stamp and die set (I just drew the accessories on him). The sentiment is from last months Teeny Tag Holidays. The snowglobe is made using the new Stitched Circle Tab Die and the darling little paper bow is made using the new Fun Size Stitched Bow. To make the snowglobe kind of 3D like and sparkly. I ran it through my Xyron snowman side down, then I sprinkled it with translucent glitter and covered it with Glossy Accents. The hardest part was just being patient enough to let the Glossy Accents dry.

I also made a simple card with some of the new sets.

Once again I used the Stitched Circle Tab Die and I also used the Circle Tab Sentiments from this release. Some other My Creative Time products that I used were the Anyday Bingo & Crossword (for the heart), Teeny Tag Greetings (for the sweet friend sentiment) and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die.

Sneak Peek giveaway!

Winter Gift Tags

It is time for another Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time. This challenge will be hosted by Katie. Katie's challenge is to make a winter/holiday tag or tags using some My Creative Time products.

I made a small set of coordinating 4 tags. Each tag uses the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies and the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Dies by My Creative Time. They all also use some pretty trendy twine and some seam binding ribbon.

These tags used the All Around Holidays stamp set for the winter wishes sentiment. I used some snowflake bling for the middle.

These tags used the All Around Christmas stamp set for the sentiment and the cute snowman.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to join in on the challenge and to get some more fun gift tag inspiration. Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps and Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Blog Hop

Welcome to the Peachy Keen Stamps and Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Blog Hop. You should have come here from Melisa's blog. If not make sure to get the whole hop in by going to the start at Lisa's Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons blog.

I used several Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons products as well several Peachy Keen Stamps to make my two shape cards.

I used the awesome print and cut features on my Silhouette machine to make both cards. I love my Silhouette for that. It worked terrific with these Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon cutting files too. The cute little girl that I used is from the Fourth of July Kids Cutting File. I added corn to her hand instead of the flag she is normally holding and gave her fall colored clothing. The corn, berry basket and pumpkin come from the First Thanksgiving Cutting Files. Her cute little head band and feathers come from the Thanksgiving Wear Cutting Files. The shape of the card is made by using one of the banners from the Simple Banner Shapes Cutting Files. The darling polka dot paper is all digital paper from a Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons set called Pumpkin Spice Circles and Spots. I used a couple of fun Peachy Keen Stamps sets as well. I used The Moodies Face Assortment for her adorable face. I also used the October 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month for the sentiment.

I also made a fun turkey shape card.

I used the awesome print and cut feature once again for this card. The Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon cutting files I used were the First Thanksgiving Cutting Files (for the turkey) and the Simple Banner Shapes Cutting Files (for the card shape). Once again the darling polka dot paper is all digital paper from the set called Pumpkin Spice Circles and Spots. I used two stamps by Peachy Keen Stamps the were The Cornies Face Assortment (for the turkey's eyes) and the October 2013 Stamp Kit of the Month (for the sentiment). The cute stitched die that the stamp is on is by My Creative Time. It is called the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. I finished it off with some hemp twine and then some faux stitching with my GellyRoll pens.

PRIZES: Both Peachy Keen Stamps and Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons will each be giving out a $15 gift certificate. All you need to do to be eligible for one of these prizes is to comment on on the blog posts in the hop and leave your contact information so that we will be able to contact you if you are one of the lucky winners. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop! Hugs- Glora

Fall Bookmark

My daughter LOVES to read and I find her stuffing just about anything in her books to mark her place so I decided to make her this fun fall bookmark. She loves it and has used it faithfully.

I used the Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents by Peachy Keen Stamps for the pinecones. Aren't they fun? I also used some of my Liz's Paper Loft Boutique ribbons and hemp to finish it off. It was simple and easy but has been put to very good use.

Have a terrific day. Hugs- Glora

December 25th Christmas Memories Layout

Today is Scrappin' the Little Things at My Creative Time. I have tons of Christmas photos that need to be scrapped so I turned on some Christmas music and scrapped away. I got the basic inspiration for the design of my page from one of the pages in my DCWV Christmas paper pad.

I used lots of My Creative Time products and some pretty paper from DCWV. I used the following My Creative Time Dies: Stitched 3x4 Journal Die, Stitched 4x6 Journal Die and Stitched XL Label Die. I used the following My Creative Time stamp sets: My Journaling (for the journal lines), Cherish This Moment (for Good Memories), Gift Card Sentiments (for Merry Christmas), Treasured Moments (for Life's most precious moments...), and Whimsical Calendar Days.

I hope you enjoyed my layout. Make sure to stop by My Creative Time to see all the other scrappy inspiration. Hugs- Glora

Let Us Give Thanks

Here is a quick and easy little treat bag that I made for the Peachy Keen Stamps November Release Party Challenge #1. The requirements are to make a treat bag using the colors green and orange and to use at least 1 button. If you join in the challenge you have a chance at a $25 Peachy Keen gift certificate! YAY. You can join in the challenge HERE. You have until Tuesday, November 12th at midnight to link up a project in the comment section.

Here is mine:

For my tag I used the pumpkin and sentiment from the October 2013 SKOTM. I also used the new Wiggle Stitch size A2 stamp for the background of my tag. I just used some watermark ink to give it that tone on tone subtle look. The tag I used is the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die by My Creative Time. I used a button from my stash along with some pretty twine from The Twinery!

There is also another challenge. It is Release Party Challenge #2 and it is to upcycle something into a holiday decor item. I haven't done this challenge project yet but if I do I will send out another reminder. You can find the 2nd challenge HERE.

I hope you will join in the fun! Hugs- Glora

Happy Thanksgiving Card - MCT Favorite Stamp of the Month

Today we are sharing the new My Favorite Stamp of the Month sets for My Creative Time. You can purchase both of these sets and get free shipping but ONLY on these two sets. Free shipping for these sets goes until November 15th. The sets are Piles of Smiles and Mixed Holiday Sentiments.

For my card I used a sentiment from Piles of Smiles.

All the products on here are by My Creative Time. I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal die for my shape card (now it will fit inside the awesome Scallop Stitched Envelope Die). I used the egg die from the Hello Spring stamp and die set to make my pumpkin. I totally got this idea from my design team sister Kim. She made a darling pumpkin out of this die quite a while back. You can find it HERE. For the pumpkin stem I used the end of the curly mustache die on the What's Growing On? stamp and die set. I also used the leaf from the Stitched Leaves Dies. And the sentiment comes from Piles of Smiles.

I've used both of these sets several times. I thought I would share a few of my favorite projects using these two Favorite Stamp of the Month sets.

These ones use Mixed Holiday Sentiments:
